SF Botanicals
I spent Saturday afternoon walking around Golden Gate Park, taking over 1200 photos, all using Obscura. It was a really great experience and I just felt in the zone from start to finish.
The only downside was shooting a whole lot of ProRAW photos under the heat of the midday sun meant my phone was cooking itself and chewing through its battery. This meant having to stop several times, alternating between letting it cool down and plugging it into a portable battery to stay alive. I even resorted to dipping some napkins in a stream to help speed up the cooling. I guess I wouldn’t be too mad if the iPhone 16 Pro had a fan.
As I was shooting, I could tell that many of these photos would make great wallpapers and it motivated me to do something I’ve been thinking about doing for years: releasing some wallpaper packs.
So here they are, SF Botanicals Verdant and Monochrome. 15 photos in each, all shot with Obscura on a 15 Pro Max (mostly with the 5× lens) and edited in Darkroom.

If you buy either or both of them, I’d love to hear what you think!
